Nantahala Gorge Canopy Tours

Experience an exhilarating 3 hour & over 1/2 mile adventure with:

  • 11 zipline sections over 20 scenic acres alternating between slope side, trees, and elevated platforms
  • Five Sky Bridges and three additional transfer bridges
  • Walk the Green Mile, the Burma Road, fly into the Slingshot, soar into the Bermuda Triangle

More than just a zipline ride, Nantahala Gorge Canopy Tours takes you through multiple ecosystems, past hemlocks, and into hardwood treetops. Take flight above the forest floor blanketed with mountain laurel, rhododendron, flame azalea, and other native plants. While in flight, watch for hawks, deer, and other wildlife; or spot the remains of a moonshine still while rangers share the cultural history of the Nantahala Gorge.

State-of-the-art equipment and support is provided including helmet, full body harness, trolley, gloves, tether lines, and two canopy rangers per group. All flyers must be in good physical condition. Flyers must be at least 10 years old and between 70 and 250 lbs. Closed-toe shoes required, modest clothing recommended. Our professional Canopy Rangers provide all the necessary instruction & assistance.
