The Risk and Responsibilities of Rafting & Zipline Canopy Tours
While Wildwater Ltd., Nantahala Gorge Canopy Tours, & the managing agencies set a minimum age and/or weight for trips, you must also evaluate your own fitness level. Participating in outdoor activities involves inherent risks, and can be physically demanding. All Guests go at their own risk and are required to sign a waiver of liability. Participants should be in good health, be comfortable in water if rafting, and be able to walk up grades or numerous stairs. You cannot go if you are pregnant. Alcohol and illegal drugs are not allowed on or immediately prior to trips. We will remove from the trip anyone under the influence of these substances, and no refund will be made. You will be assisting in paddling and carrying rafts and equipment if rafting, and must assist in controlling your speed if ziplining. If you are seriously overweight or have special medical conditions, you should consult your physician before rafting or ziplining.

Chattooga Cottages

Wildwater's cottages are a convenient place to stay when you visit the Chattooga. Nestled on the edge of the woods, overlooking the Wildwater pond and steps away from the Wildwater Chattooga Adventure Center, our cottages sleep four and have a full kitchen. The Chattooga Cottages feature a queen futon downstairs and loft with a set of twin beds, satellite TV with DVD player, a spacious deck, linens and towels, and a waterfall shower. They are decorated in French Country style with colorful fabrics, art and accessories. Charcoal grills and a gazebo provide outdoor enjoyment and relaxation during your visit. Two duplex cottages are available.

Jawbone Cabin

If you are looking for a cabin with all the amminities of home try out our new Jawbone Cabin. Located within walking distance of the Wildwater Chattooga Adventure Center, this timberframe cabin has 3 bedrooms with Queen beds and a loft with 2 single beds. Perfect for 3 couples or multiple families with kids, Jawbone cabin also offers a full kitchen w/ stainless appliances & granite counters, 2 bathrooms, gas fireplace, washer/dryer, large flatscreen TV with Direct TV, covered outdoor deck, porch and outdoor grill. All linens included. OPEN YEAR-ROUND!

Chattooga Group Yurts

Wildwater's Group Yurts are a convenient place for groups to stay when you visit the Chattooga. Nestled on the edge of the woods, overlooking the Academy Lake and steps away from the Wildwater Chattooga Adventure Center, our yurts sleep up to 34 within 5 yurts. The yurts sleep 10, 8, 6, 6, & 4 and have bunkbeds with mattresses for sleeping, large outside deck with picnic table, power, lights, and small heaters. No sheets, pillows, blankets or towels are provided. There is a multi-purpose building with 6 individual bathrooms with private showers, toilet & sink as well as 2 additional toilets & sinks. The multi-purpose building also has a full indoor kitchen, screened dining room, and outside grill & table. Most kitchen supplies are provided, but you need to bring your own plates & cups. Yurts can be booked for one or more groups or families at the same time, so some sharing of the kitchen facilities will be required.
