Asheville Treetops Adventure Park will include approximately 50 unique climbing, zipping, walking, jumping, swinging, and rappelling challenges anchored to over 30 trees and towering poles tucked in the wooded park.

Ocoee River Basin Canopy Tours

This one of a kind zipline/canopy tour takes you on a mining inspired adventure. Copper was discovered in the Ocoee Basin area in 1843. This discovery would impact the lives of Copper Basin residents for generations. Three veins of copper run through the basin and each attracted several mining companies ready to exploit the resource. No one knew that the state-of-the-art technology being used at that time to process copper would have devastating effects on the environment. In fact, the devastation was so great the Copper Basin was once considered the largest man-made biological desert in the nation. The Copper Basin is steadily returning to the healthy, green landscape that disappeared close to a century ago. We look forward to sharing this rich history with you while zipping through the trees.

Enjoy a soaring and gliding experience naturally fueled by a gradual elevation change at Nantahala Gorge Canopy Tours (NGCT). It takes limited energy to participate and is not designed to scare with big drops as much as excite with smooth gliding. Nantahala Gorge Canopy Tours has the longest ziplines, the only zipline adventure with scenic views, and the only true treetop zipline canopy tour in the Nantahala Gorge. Great trip for families. Near to Asheville, Knoxville, Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, the Pigeon River Canopy Tour includes 7-12 zips that fly you beside, above and across the Big Pigeon River and back to your starting point at heights up to 120 feet above the river. The 2 hour Pigeon Express Zip Tour with its 7 zips & 3 1/2 hour Waterfall Canopy Tour with 12 zips will challenge all.
